Thank you for shopping with Japan Green Tea. We carefully pack and ship every order from Western Australia to tea lovers across the country.
1. Where we ship
We ship Australia-wide only at this time. We do not currently ship internationally. If you'd like to enquire about international orders, please email us at info@japangreentea.com.au.
We can deliver to:
- β Residential and business addresses
- β PO Boxes (via Australia Post)
- β Parcel lockers (via Australia Post)
2. Order processing time
All orders are processed and posted within 1β3 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or Western Australian public holidays.
During busy periods (Christmas, sale periods, new tea launches), processing may take an extra 1β2 days. If your order is significantly delayed, we will contact you by email.
3. Shipping rates & free shipping
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.

4. Estimated delivery times
Once posted, please allow:

Delivery times are estimates from our carrier (Australia Post) and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to weather, public holidays, or carrier issues.
5. Tracking your order
Once your order is posted, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your Australia Post tracking number. Tracking typically activates within 24 hours of dispatch.

6. Damaged or lost parcels (your Australian Consumer Law rights)
Under Australian Consumer Law, we (Japan Green Tea) are responsible for ensuring your order arrives in good condition. If something goes wrong in transit, we will make it right.
If your order arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the parcel and damaged items before unpacking further
- Email us at info@japangreentea.com.au within 48 hours of delivery
- Include your order number and photos
- We will arrange a replacement or refund β see our Refund & Return Policy
If your order is lost in transit:
If tracking shows no movement for 10+ business days, or shows "delivered" but you haven't received it, please contact us. We will investigate with Australia Post and arrange a replacement or refund as needed.
Please keep all packaging until any issue is resolved β Australia Post may request photos or pickup of damaged parcels.
7. Wrong address
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, we can re-send it but you will be charged a second shipping fee.
